This book tells the story of Aminu, Kabiru, and Zainab through their mother’s eyes. The children live in a camp for internally displaced people and are sad that they still cannot return home. They love to learn and dream of a life outside the walls of the camp. Their mother, Khadija, has to make tough decisions to provide for her children, but she always reminds them to be hopeful and not to give up on their dreams.
